I've heard great things about this bakery and I was finally in the area to give it a try. There is parking in the front but it's extremely limited. I recommend that you try for street parking instead of the lot outside. The line on Friday morning was not bad. Only three people ahead of me. I got the crazy cookie and mushroom scone to try. I really enjoyed the texture and flavor of the cookie. It was big and flat and not too sweet. I love scones but this is my first scone that I did not enjoy. It felt too greasy and did not have the mushroom or cheese flavor. I might come back to try their other items
Best way to start the day. Thought the strawberry scone was going to be filled with strawberries. Still v good. Bonus: there were some cute dogs there today.
My friend grabbed the ham & swiss croissant for me on the way to Napa. I loved the flakiness and crispiness of the croissant. The cheese and ham were also delicious and created a wonderful world of texture. Will definitely get again.
It was definitely worth the walk over. I came on a Saturday after 1. It wasn't busy at all but they still had a decent pasture left. I have to say their butter crossaints are amazing. Soft on the inside and not too crusty on the outside. If you like the taste of butter than this croissant is your go to. I had their veggie hummus sandwich as well. It was quite large and tasted fresh. The pickled onions and beets went well with the hummus. Although the bread was kinda soggy being the last one left. However the bread was fresh and had a good flavor of whole grain. I would definitely be back to try other goodies. The only drawback was it's a grab and go and service was meh. Not the friendliest or helpful.
Popped by on a morning around 9:30am and it was quite busy. Unassuming, worn signage. But a welcoming delicious bakery awaits. Everything was well baked and delicious Morning Glory - 4.5/5 Seasonal Savory Turnover - 4/5 Seasonal Kouign Amann - 4.5/5. Lemon bay leaf, delicious. Great texture.
